Restaurant "Rosencafé"

Restaurant “Rosencafé”
In the Rosencafé, we offer traditional German and international cuisine, regional specialities and seasonal offers. Sitting on the sun terrace you will have spectacular views over most parts of the park as well as the park of roses while enjoying coffee and cakes in this perfect setting. The charming timbered cottage was built according to old original plans in the style of a Lower Saxon architecture. The light furnishings makes the Rosencafé a very special place to unwind. Our cosy fireplace offers warm comfort and is the ideal place to rest during cold days. The glass Rosencafé invites you to eat “together with the birds”: separated only by a window, visitors can watch the bird life and their social behavior without disturbing the animals.

Restaurant "Zum Kranich"

Restaurant “Zum Kranich”
In the 1853 built restaurant “Zum Kranich” and the beer garden which are idyllically situated on the water’s edge of the “Kranichsee”, we serve bavarian delicacy. Being part of the restaurant, the beer garden is the place to relax while having a cool drink and marvelling at the spectacular view. The well preserved timbered cottage of two columns was originally situated in Varl, Eastern Westphalia. You would probably not think that this venerable inn was only rebuilt in 1990 in its current place.

Diner, Snacks & Co
Depending on the season, you will find one mobile ice cream cart and two diners offering the possibility to eat in or to take away. The diners next to the playground and next to the Eagle Owl Castle with its sheltered seats invite you to linger and relax while the children play.
